The “A Better Ecuador” event brought together prominent leaders and visionaries at the Performing Arts Center of Colegio Menor in Quito, with an audience of students, professionals, and families. Speakers included Roque Sevilla, former mayor of Quito, Carlos Montufar, educator, Daniel Donoso, founder of CAEMBA YOUTH, and Cristina Torres and Manuel Pallares, co-founders of Fundación RAÍZ.
With tickets priced at $20, the event raised $15,000 to fund the construction of three homes. The speeches inspired attendees to contribute to the country’s transformation, with Daniel Donoso’s message emphasizing the power of youth to elevate Ecuador’s name. Participants also wrote their dreams for a better Ecuador, which were later displayed on a wall of hope and vision at the school.
